Occasionally you can feel you might be in a foreign country without leaving the UK. Road signs in Wales are a good example. Then out of the blue you spot another sign in a foreign language in far off Sheffield.

Either there is a roaring trade in signage letters leading to some being borrowed or somebody used some reet dodgy glue from shady Sam’s emporium ,…..?

The sign has become a landmark as you approach Sheffield by rail and apart from the company manufacturing high quality pewter products, did it also inspire the origin of the skeleton crossword puzzle?
